Congrats to Whitley Bay for beating Glossop North End at Wembley Stadium yesterday to win the FA Vase.
Ness and I both know Whitley Bay manager, Ian Chandler, from our days at Sage Software.
Also great to hear Andy D and Dave were both at the match, but I am very jealous that they can say they have seen a Tyneside team win at Wembley!!
Well done to Whitley Bay FC, the best team in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Gateshead and Blue Star got promoted too. All in all it's been a spectacularly good year for Tyneside football, with just the one massive exception!
