Super Sports Sunday

The other Sunday we decided to have a sports-festival of an afternoon.

The 4 of us went to the pub nearby for about 12 to watch some boxing, met up with about 8 of our mates, got some pub grub and waited for the Ricky Hatton fight. Yes, the one that he got himself knocked out in about 3 minutes. Mmmm, the pub was full of brits who had only just arrived. In fact, Jon one of our friends arrived after it was all over!

Then we got the tram along to South Melbourne, sat outside in the sunshine in a pub 'garden' then headed to watch South Melbourne play football. It was a draw. And to be quite honest, a pretty boring match. (Even Macky said that!)

Never mind, we headed back to ours for a bit of group WII action, and looked forward to the last installment of the day - NUFC vs Liverpool.

Well the less said there the better. So the sports element of the day was pretty poor all round, fortunately the social element more than made up for it and we all succeeded in feeling pretty hungover going to work the next day.
